My first impression of the restaurant was that it looked very appealing from the outside and I wasn't disappointed because the interior decor was very modern and clean, we were greeted by a friendly waiter who showed us to our table within minutes of arriving. As always, we started with poppadoms and a selection of chutneys, the poppadoms were warm and fresh and the chutneys were delicious. This restaurant offers an impressive range of dishes and sides making it difficult to decide exactly what I wanted, however, I started with Nargis Kebab which was very tasty and flavoursome and I would highly recommend this dish, the starter arrived promptly and was presented beautifully with a side salad. My main course was Lamb Rawalpindi which the waiter advised was a bit like Marmite, you either love it or you hate it. As I've never tried this dish before tonight was the night to test this theory, as I like a madras hot dish, this Rawalpindi certainly hit the mark. The flavours were like nothing I've tasted before thanks to the use of vinegar and dried red chillies giving it a potent kick and it went down a treat. Tonight the food was accompanied by Cobra Lager which was served at just the right temperature and made the overall meal experience one which will certainly make me return to this restaurant again.
