Tonight it was my choice to choose the restaurant, I chose the Blue Mango in Earlsdon, Coventry and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. When we arrived we were greeted quickly by friendly staff and shown to our table, the inside of the restaurant was very modern and very nice. Within minutes we were asked if would like drinks and popadoms, when the popadoms arrived they were served with four different dips and all four were very tasty. Whilst we were enjoying our popadoms we were asked if we were ready to order, I started with a Chicken Chat, the chicken itself was fresh and tender and served in a rich, tasty sauce which had a kick of spice, this was served in a puri and a fresh side salad. For my main course I decided to go with the Chicken Jaipuri, I wasnt sure about ordering this as I usually stick with the Chicken Tikka Masala but I was very pleased with my choice, the meat was very tender and the sauce was spicy but delicious, this was accompanied by fried rice and a plain naan bread. My overall opinion of The Blue Mango is that it is a lovely restaurant and I highly recommend a visit, the only negativ side for me was the tables were very close together.
