Tonight we visited turmeric gold, when we first arrived we had to wait a few minutes whilst a table was sorted as we had not booked. This wasn't a bad thing because it gave us a chance to have a look at how lovely the restaurant is and actually how much space there is seeing as it looks so small from the outside. Anyway we started with our regular popadoms which was accompanied with four different chutneys which were all generous portions. When we were asked if we were ready to order I chose for my starter Paneer Til Tila which is deep fried Indian cheese. It is served as four cubes of soft cheese coated in a crispy batter with a spicy dressing and a bit of side salad, it was a lovely starter.
Khatta Masala is what I chose for my main course and I wish I chose something different, for me it was just a bit boring with not a lot of flavour, it was very plain and because I like a curry with plenty of flavour or some spice I wasn't too pleased with it. The naan bread was fluffy and soft which was very nice.
I would recommend Turmeric Gold because it is a lovely restaurant and the quality of the food is brilliant but if I go again I will definitely choose a different main course.
